25 hours per week, over 5 days
Actual Salary: £16,379 per annum
We have an exciting role for an individual to join our Carers Team and make a difference to unpaid Carer’s lives.
You will process Carer referrals, manage our Carers email inbox, and respond to queries via telephone and email.
You will work closely with the Carers Service, Assistant Manager and Adult Carers Coordinators to conduct administrative tasks relevant to early intervention work within the community, including supporting the planning and promoting of activities and events for adult carers as well as attending in person adult carer groups.
About you:
Our next Support Worker will have excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and be able to produce accurate records by adding information into our systems.
You will have some experience of providing guidance and support to customers and be able to work sensitively with a range of individuals. You will also have a genuine desire to make a difference to Carers’ lives.
You will be a strong communicator, oral and written and a multi-tasker who is self-motivated and proactive.
The successful candidate will also be subject to a satisfactory Enhanced DBS check. Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence with your access to your own car is required or alternative transport.
Flexibility around hours may also be needed, with the need to work some evenings.
