About Global Advisory (GA)
Global Advisory is an independent corporate finance advisory business which provides impartial, expert advice to large and mid-sized corporations, private equity, families and entrepreneurs, and governments. We design and execute strategic M&A and financing solutions for our clients and act as a trusted partner, taking a long-term and independent view on the challenges they face.
Our professionals have a deep understanding of financial markets, we advise on a high volume of transactions, and have an unrivalled network of c.1,600 industry and financing specialists on the ground in 59 locations across 47 countries.
About The Role
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to provide frontline support in creating and implementing our digital marketing strategy. They will play a key role the in the planning, execution, and optimisation of our internal and external digital communications platforms.
This is a global remit which is based in London. The candidate will be a member of the GA Communications team and provide communication support to the business, assisting in the execution of campaigns that align with business plans. The role includes but is not limited to the following:
Email Marketing
* Develop and oversee the overall email marketing strategy to align with business objectives
* Design and execute email campaigns, including the creation of emails using templates and HTML, as well as scheduling their distribution
* Manage the email marketing calendar and ensure alignment with business priorities and requirements by internal stakeholders
* Conduct A/B testing strategies to optimise email content and subject lines
* Ensure mobile-friendly email templates
* Ensure email campaigns comply with industry regulations and best practices
* Provide regular campaign performance reports that include opens, clicks, conversions and unsubscribes, etc
* Proofread emails for clarity, grammar and spelling
* Look for new ways to improve email campaigns through new technology, designs, trends, and best practices
Websites and Intranet
* Work with the Group Digital Director to improve Global Advisory’s online presence and assist with website planning and implementation
* Manage and develop Global Advisory’s web pages across the Rothschild & Co website
* Assist with creating website reports and analysing performance data to support decision-making
* Basic experience updating HTML and JavaScript
* Manage, update and develop Global Advisory’s regional websites
* Collaborate with regional teams for regular updates to their website content and design
* Collaborate with the GA Communications team to ensure content is readily available and updated on the GA intranet
* Monitor and analyse intranet usage and performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for improvements
* Manage the GA Intranet visual design and site navigation to ensure a user-friendly experience
* Ensure website content is optimised for search engines (SEO) and aligns with the companys marketing strategy
* Keeping up to date with industry best practices and monitoring competitor websites
Campaign Support
* Develop and manage digital dashboard monitoring and reporting on campaign engagements and performances and provide recommendations for improvements
* Assist in developing Banantag templates for internal announcements and external digital brochures using Foleon
* Provide ad hoc support across communication campaigns, including messaging and content, digital and recordings
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across all marketing channels
Experience, Skills And Competencies Required
* 3+ years within a digital marketing role, with end-to-end campaign management experience
* Proficient in using major email marketing platforms (Marketo desired) and understanding of email automation tools
* Knowledge of current best practice in internal and external communication including SharePoint, email campaigns, and website management
* Confident in working with international stakeholders on internationally focused campaigns
* Sufficient experience with HTML and content management systems
* Experience with SharePoint interface and architecture
* Some knowledge of corporate finance sector (M&A and Capital Markets)
* Experience building an email marketing campaign
* Excellent communication and team working skills
* Strong project management skills with excellent attention to detail
* Strong stakeholder management
* Proficient in data analytics to determine important data and be able to suggest improvements
* Knowledge of SEO tools, techniques, and best practices, including link building
* Fantastic time management skills with the ability to multi-task
