Key Account Sales Manager – Activated Carbon Products and Services

Job Description:
Carbon Activated Europe, part of the Carbon Activated Group, a leading global manufacturer and distributor of activated carbon products and services, is seeking a Key Account Sales Manager to support our growth in Europe. The role involves managing major accounts across the UK and Europe, working closely with regional sales teams and distribution networks.
Candidates should have 3-5 years of activated carbon sales management experience in sectors such as Air Filtration, Biogas, Chemicals, Food and Beverage, Remediation, Water Purification, and Wastewater Filtration. The successful candidate will demonstrate a successful sales track record, technical expertise, and the ability to develop new and existing accounts through personal sales efforts, collaboration, and partnerships.
Requirements:
* Currently in a Key Account Sales or Account Manager role, seeking wider commercial responsibilities.
* Experience in relevant industry sectors.
* Ability to manage and grow accounts, develop new clients, and work with channel partners.
* Willingness to travel 25-50% across Europe for client visits, trade shows, and training.
* Degree in Chemistry or related Science discipline, with relevant industry experience and possibly additional business qualifications.
* Strong people management skills, capable of coaching and developing external teams.
* Self-motivated, data-driven, with excellent IT, organizational, and planning skills.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills.
