The main elements of the role will include:
* Build and assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems to support prototype development and testing.
* Assist in the design and setup of test rigs and prototype equipment to bring concepts into working systems.
* Support fault-finding and troubleshooting during trials, using diagrams and logical problem-solving.
* Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring clear communication and timely progress updates.
* Maintain a safe and organised lab environment, including tools, equipment, and planning support.
About the person:
* Qualified to HNC/Degree level in Engineering or a related field, with apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience in engineering, manufacturing, or maintenance.
* Strong skills in mechanical fitting, electrical wiring, and system assembly
* Ability to interpret logic diagrams, technical drawings, and engineering instructions
* A team-focused approach with strong communication skills
* A proactive mindset and attention to detail
* Full UK driving licence and valid passport (with no travel restrictions)
