This is a Band 3 Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) role to join our team for 28 hours per week. This is a seven-day service, and we are looking for someone to cover 7am until 2.30pm over four days (subject to change). This post is based in our 16 bedded ward providing care for a wide range of conditions including day cases. The ethos of the ward is to promote self-care, independence and timely discharge along with delivery of palliative and end of life care. The ward works closely with the wider Primary health and Social Care Team. We are seeking an individual who is a team player and enjoys working in a busy environment. The successful candidate should be SVQ 3 trained.

Responsibilities
* Provide care within a 16 bedded ward, supporting patients with a range of conditions.
* Promote self-care, independence and timely discharge; deliver palliative and end of life care in line with ward ethos.
* Work as part of the wider Primary Health and Social Care Team.
* Commit to team working in a busy environment.
Qualifications
* Band 3 Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) or equivalent.
* SVQ 3 trained (essential).
