An opportunity has arisen within the Council’s Refuse and Recycling Collection Service for the recruitment of fixed term team leaders based at Woolston Depot.
The role
The successful applicant will be expected to be flexible and prepared to work across the whole range of services we provide including domestic, recyclable, green and food waste collections.
What's needed?
Applicants are required to hold a valid, clean category C class licence and Driver’s Certificate of Professional Competence qualification card (Min 6 Months). Successful applicants will be required to complete a company medical and a driving assessment prior to employment.
Operational hours of work are for 37 hours per week over a 4 day working week Tuesday to Friday 6.30am to 4.15pm. The hours available are for a full day shift within the operating days and times shown however; participation in overtime working is expected in order to meet the needs of the service as and when required by management.
