Contract & Hours
37.5 hour week. Permanent (52 weeks) or Summer contract (50 weeks, 5 weeks off in summer break + 22 days holiday).
Salary & Bonus
Salary: Up to £50,000 FTE, dependent on experience plus a welcome bonus of £2,000 (£1,000 after successful completion of 3 months and £1,000 after successful completion of probation). All experience levels considered; multiple positions available due to growth.

About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and motivated Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our expanding multi‑disciplinary team, working primarily in school settings with potential for clinic and remote work.
As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist you will play a vital role in unlocking students’ potential by assessing their needs for Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and providing specialised interventions. You will work collaboratively with parents, carers, multidisciplinary and teaching teams across various school and clinical settings to ensure interventions are effectively integrated into the young person’s daily life. A key function is equipping key adults with the skills to confidently support the young person in achieving therapy goals.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting comprehensive assessments of developmental or learning needs for EHCPs.
* Developing and implementing individualised intervention plans.
* Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals to integrate goals into the child’s environment.
* Evaluating intervention effectiveness and providing training and upskilling to key adults.
* Maintaining accurate documentation.
* Actively participating in multidisciplinary meetings to coordinate care for children and young people with complex needs.
Qualifications & Experience
* HCPC and RCOT registration.
* Recognised Bachelor's or Master's degree in occupational therapy.
* Paediatric occupational therapy experience.
* Experience working within a specialist paediatric setting.
* Experience working within school settings.
* Experience completing assessments for Education, Health and Care Plans.
* Specialist CPD and/or training.
* Trauma‑Informed care experience.
* Experience working with paediatric social, emotional, and mental health needs.
