Overview
Mechanical Project Manager - Tier 1 M&E Contractor – Norfolk / Cambridge / Suffolk (Multi-site role). Salary £70,000 - £100,000 DOE + package.
We are working with a leading Tier 1 M&E contractor who have secured a number of major projects across East Anglia, with individual project values exceeding £30m. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their team. This is a multi-site role likely to be split between projects in Norfolk, Cambridge and Suffolk.
What You’ll Do
* Take responsibility for the successful delivery of large-scale mechanical packages from pre-construction through to handover.
* Oversee programme, commercial performance, quality and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing large mechanical packages on major construction projects
* Coordinating with main contractors, consultants and client teams
* Overseeing site managers, engineers and subcontractors
* Managing programme, delivery milestones and installation progress
* Ensuring health & safety compliance and quality standards are maintained
* Supporting procurement and commercial management of packages
* Driving projects through commissioning and handover
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within M&E / Building Services
* Experience working with Tier 1 or major M&E contractors (highly desirable)
* Track record delivering large-scale projects / major mechanical packages
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to manage multiple sites and complex programmes
* Strong understanding of HVAC, pipework and building services installations
