1. Has completed an accredited CSO course and recently updated
Desirable criteria
2. Has worked as a CSO in another Trust

3. Is a Registered Practitioner with NMC or HCPC
4. Significant clinical experience in a secondary care setting
5. Knowledge of the DCB0160 and 0129 standards
6. Experience of system analysis, development, testing, release, upgrades and decommissioning
7. A thorough understanding of why and how errors occur in the development, deployment and subsequent use of EPR Systems
8. Strong Project Management skills, principles and practices
Desirable criteria
9. Formal leadership and management qualification
10. Knowledge of Cerner EPR
