What you’ll be doing
as a Customer Performance Partner
In this role, you’ll take ownership of a variety of field-based activities to support new connections, mains installations, and wastewater network projects - ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to Thames Water’s high standards. You will:
1. Carry out field surveys for new connections and mains, providing accurate data to enable error-free designs.
2. Conduct water regulations inspections to ensure compliance with required standards.
3. Attend site and traffic management meetings, supporting the smooth delivery of connections and related works.
4. Liaise with customers and internal teams to resolve issues and deliver excellent service.
5. Inspect Section 104 Sewer Adoptions, Buildi Over, and new sewer connections, providing timely reports.
6. Meet with contractor teams to carry out Health & Safety audits and promote safe working practices.
What you should bring to the role:
7. Full training will be provided for the right candidate.
8. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role, as travel across the region is a key part of the job.
9. We are ideally looking for someone with traffic management, water regulations, knowledge of main laying, and water networks experience.
10. Relevant technical qualifications are highly advantageous but not essential.
11. Working knowledge of the clean and wastewater network would be desirable, particularly Health & Safety and Streetworks standards.
12. Knowledge of NRSWA / TMA and pipe-laying/pipeline construction or some background in the plumbing industry ideally.
13. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
Hours: 38 hours per week Mon-Fri 7:30-15:36
