Customer Service Agent

Location: Uxbridge | Hybrid Working: 3 Days Office / 2 Days Home

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM/ 9.30-6pm (37.5 hours per week)

As we continue through an exciting period of growth, we’re seeking a dedicated Customer Service Agent to become part of our high-performing team.

What You’ll Do: In this role, you’ll manage a portfolio of customer cases, ensuring smooth, professional service from start to finish. You’ll act as the main point of contact for our clients, working with both internal teams and external partners to ensure every case is handled efficiently and with care.
Your day-to-day will include:
1. Managing long-term customer accounts with professionalism and empathy
2. Providing regular updates to customers and tracking case progress
3. Liaising with third-party insurers, repairers, engineers, solicitors, and stakeholders
4. Investigating details related to claims, including liability and potential fraud
5. Making sound decisions to ensure a positive customer experience and protect the business
6. Ensuring all actions comply with industry regulations and internal guidelines
What You’ll Bring: We’re looking for a confident communicator and natural problem-solver who thrives in a busy, people-focused environment.

Essential Skills & Attributes:
7. Outstanding phone manner and confidence handling high call volumes
8. Previous experience in a customer service or claims-related role
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
10. Strong organisational abilities, time management, and attention to detail
11. Ability to multitask, stay calm under pressure, and meet deadlines
12. Comfortable making decisions and influencing positive outcomes
13. Confidence when dealing with challenging customer situations
14. Tech-savvy, with knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
15. Friendly, team-oriented attitude and eagerness to learn
Bonus Points For:
16. Experience in motor claims or the credit hire sector (not essential)
