We're looking for a proactive Stores Person to join our busy team and play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of parts in and out of the business. Your daily responsibilities will include managing stock transactions, picking, packing, and shipping parts to engineers and customers, as well as receiving deliveries and maintaining accurate inventory records. This varied role offers a great opportunity to come and join our dynamic team and work in a fast-paced environment!
Principal Objectives:
1. Ensure successful and timely shipment of parts out of the business
2. Transact faulty parts back in to the business
3. Accurate and timely reception of new parts in to the business
4. Maintain and transact accurate stock details
Key Responsibilities:
5. Using system generated reports, pick, pack and ship all outgoing stock
6. Take delivery of goods coming into the business
7. Locate parts with in the stores
8. Using system generated reports, pick, pack and ship parts to engineers for van stock
9. Maintain a tidy and safe warehouse
10. Collect and distribute parts as required (from local area)
11. Forklift Truck driving as required
12. Liaising with internal repairers to ensure accurate reporting and tracking of parts
13. Dealing with couriers and hauliers
14. Picking and Shipping Spare Part Sales
15. Conducting of some Cyclic Stock Counts
Skills & Abilities Required (Essential):
