Health Funding Compliance Officer

Permanent Full-Time position

Malvern corporate office location & up to 2 days WFH per week

As a Health Funding Compliance Officer, you’ll be part of a dynamic group that works across hospital departments to support contract compliance, audits, reporting, and education—all with the goal of safeguarding our funding integrity and helping patients receive the care they need.

Your Impact

Working within our vibrant Health Funds and Patient Services team, you’ll support hospital-wide services and contribute to critical processes that ensure accurate billing, strong relationships with health funds, and compliance with contracts and policies.

What You’ll Be Doing

7. Assisting with data gathering and preparation for audits

8. Monitoring communications and ensuring timely, professional responses

9. Maintaining records and updating information in WebPAS (Patient Management System)

10. Liaising across departments to retrieve clinical documentation and verify patient data

11. Supporting compliance reporting and contract administration under the guidance of the Lead Specialist – Health Funding Compliance

What You Bring

12. Experience in private hospital billing, health fund product knowledge, or similar industry experience (preferred)

13. Certificate in Health Administration or similar (preferred but not essential)

14. A keen eye for detail and a methodical, organised approach

15. A proactive mindset – you enjoy solving problems, digging into the detail, and supporting organisational goals

16. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude

17. Solid understanding of the Privacy Act and the importance of confidentiality

18. Confidence using Microsoft Office, especially Excel & Teams, and ideally WebPAS
