About the Role

This is a high-impact, dual-focused role that blends daily trading accountability across UK & Ireland Marketplaces with full ownership of our B-grade commercial strategy. You’ll drive profitable growth through Dyson’s existing and emerging A-grade and B-grade marketplace partners, and identify, evaluate and execute new business opportunities across both streams.

You will work cross-functionally across eCommerce, Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Care, and collaborate closely with marketplace partners to deliver exceptional customer experiences, strong commercial outcomes, and a premium Dyson brand presence.

Key Responsibilities

Marketplace (A-grade)

1. Deliver volume, revenue, and margin targets across all UK&I A-grade marketplaces (currently Debenhams), with future expansion into new partners.

2. Own the full trading cycle: forecasting, stock planning, merchandising, content, pricing, promotions, and performance optimisation.

3. Ensure a seamless and premium customer journey across all platforms, aligned to Dyson’s global brand and trading standards.

4. Manage relationships with existing marketplace partners; lead quarterly business reviews, co-develop joint business plans, and execute partner marketing activations.

5. Identify and secure new A-grade marketplace opportunities that align with Dyson’s commercial and brand objectives.

B-Grade Trading (Refurbished Products)

6. Lead Dyson’s B-grade commercial strategy in the UK & Ireland, delivering volume, profit, and inventory targets.

7. Manage and grow performance on existing B-grade marketplaces including eBay, owning the end-to-end relationship, promotional calendar, and collaborative marketing activations.

8. Explore and evaluate new business B-grade opportunities, and other relevant channels.

9. Build a robust channel plan across direct, affiliate, and 3rd-party platforms for B-grade sales; work closely with the performance marketing and affiliate teams to unlock new campaigns and partnerships.

10. Collaborate with Dyson’s refurbishment centre to develop and manage the B-grade supply plan, ensuring accurate forecasting, stock allocation, and replenishment.

11. Own the full forecasting and inventory planning process across B-grade, driving efficient stock utilisation and minimising aged stock.

12. Represent Dyson in B-grade commercial negotiations, ensuring sustainable commercial terms and high-quality execution.

Operational Excellence & Reporting

13. Collaborate cross-functionally with Logistics, Finance, Customer Service, Legal, and IT to ensure trading operations are smooth, compliant, and optimised.

14. Champion agile digital execution and maintain a bug-free, compliant, and up-to-date presence across all marketplaces.

15. Leverage data insights, BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau), and performance metrics to inform trading decisions, drive continuous improvement, and identify commercial opportunities.

16. Lead and present regular performance reporting to senior stakeholders, highlighting risks, opportunities, and next steps.

17. Stay across trends, competitor activity, and marketplace innovation, bringing fresh ideas and best practices into Dyson.
