We are currently hiring for several experienced General Operatives to join our site team on the SRP project at Sellafield.

The General Operative role
The role shall include but not limited to the following requirements.
1. Assisting skilled tradespeople with concreting, fencing and laying drainage pipes.
2. Ensure the site remains clean, tidy safe and secure.
3. Following all health and safety and wellbeing policies.
Training will be provided where required to fulfil duties.
Essential Skills and Experience:
4. Experience in a general operative role in the construction industry
5. Experience using hand and power tools
6. CSCS Green Card (Labourer or Construction)
7. IOSH Working Safely
8. Abrasive Wheels Training
9. Asbestos Awareness
10. Face fit tested
11. Experience of working in a team
12. Have a positive working culture with consistent behaviours and conduct – an assessment may be carried out as part of the interview selection process
Desirable Skills and Experience
13. Full UK driving license as transport to site will not be provided.
14. Experience of working in a nuclear environment.
