We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading supplier of flat-pack furniture and household items in the UK. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a Senior E-Commerce Executive to join their dynamic team. Role Overview
The Senior E-Commerce Executive will manage and enhance the company’s presence across online marketplaces. You will mentor junior team members, optimise product listings, support marketing initiatives, and contribute to business growth through data-driven strategies.
Key Responsibilities
* Marketplace Management: Oversee company presence on e-commerce platforms, ensuring optimal performance.
* Mentorship and Support: Guide junior colleagues, support development, and ensure objectives are met.
* Product Listing and Optimisation: Lead creation and improvement of product listings to maximise visibility and sales.
* Pricing and Promotions: Monitor competitors, recommend competitive pricing strategies, and support campaigns.
* Marketing Initiatives: Collaborate on platform-specific marketing initiatives.
* Brand Protection and Compliance: Ensure compliance with marketplace policies and address unauthorised sellers.
* Data and Insights: Analyse performance data, generate reports, and provide actionable recommendations.
* Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with trends, platform updates, and best practices.
Skills and Experience
* Minimum 4 years experience managing e-commerce marketplaces, ideally in retail or flat-pack furniture.
* Experience mentoring or supporting team members.
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to contribute to growth strategies.
* Proficiency with e-commerce platforms, tools, and Microsoft Office.
* Analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Highly organised, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Customer-focused with exceptional attention to detail and quality.
* Knowledge of marketplace compliance requirements.
