Job Overview
We are a small team looking for a highly organised, customer-focused team member to provide sales support for our key accounts.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our sales and administrative functions, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication, and proficiency in various software applications.
Responsibilities
* Provide excellent customer service, manage daily queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
* Manage and support high-value customer accounts.
* Ensure in-house system is kept up to date with order dates, held stock and back orders.
* Request and follow up on customer purchase orders.
* Request and send customer samples where needed.
* Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure efficient and timely customer deliveries.
* Provide the required information to supply chain when dealing with customer specific, bespoke orders.
* Confidently process orders, checking pricing against quotes, as well as preparing customer quotations.
* Attend customer internal meetings, taking comprehensive and detailed notes.
* Consult with stock control to ensure orders are picked and sent out as and when required.
* Monitor and obtain customer stock forecasts, liaising with relevant departments.
Skills
* Proven administration experience.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook is essential.
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
* A customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to handle inquiries professionally.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to understand business needs.
* Experience in a supply chain, retail trade or an order processing environment would be advantageous.
