Business Intelligence Lead - Adults & HousingClient: Shropshire Council Location: Shrewsbury (Hybrid - office & home working) Contract: 3-month contract Rate: £25.54 PAYE / £34.31 Umbrella Hours: 37 per week### The OpportunityShropshire Council is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Lead to support the delivery of data-led decision making across Adult Social Care and Housing services on an interim basis.This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking Insight Team at a key time, helping deliver high-quality intelligence to support service improvement, transformation programmes, and strategic decision-making.You will act as the lead expert for data, performance, and insight, working closely with senior leaders to provide clear, accurate and actionable analysis.### Key Responsibilities* Lead the development and delivery of business intelligence and performance insights for Adult & Housing services* Act as the key point of contact for senior leaders, including the Director of Adult Social Services* Support transformation programmes, including demand modelling and service redesign* Lead on CQC inspection and peer review intelligence requirements* Drive improvements in data quality, reporting, and performance management* Develop forecasting models to support planning and service delivery* Promote innovative use of data, including dashboards and automation* Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners across the health and social care system* Identify key trends, risks and opportunities to inform strategic decisions### About You* Strong experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or performance management* Background in public sector, ideally within Adult Social Care or Housing* Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders* Experience supporting service transformation and improvement programmes* Strong analytical skills, including forecasting and data modelling* Experience leading or managing teams is desirable* Passion for using data to drive better outcomes### Whats on Offer* Flexible hybrid working arrangement* Opportunity to support high-impact public sector services* Collaborative and supportive team environment### Apply today
