What you’ll do on a typical day:
Oversee vehicle packs to ensure information is accurate and current, maintain packs with relevant and new information
* Ensure that the fleet is inspected in line with the undertakings of the Company Operator License
* Review of repair and maintenance tasks to make sure they are carried out in the most cost effective manner
* Support the Transport Manager with fleet management, vehicle maintenance, EU drivers’ hours legislation, tachograph and data processing
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Experience of managing conflicting priorities in a fast moving environment and planning and organising skills within a warehouse operation
* Support and encourage a good team working spirit and ensure that the Transport Team work effectively and communicate frequently to achieve the business objectives
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and coach teams to ensure excellent performance
