Governance Officer Leeds/ Hybrid 3-6 months £20 PAYE holiday ph We are currently working on behalf of a social housing provider to recruit to a Governance Officer on an initial interim basis. Some home working will be available, with travel required to their central Leeds office when required. Responsibilities of the Governance Officer: Assisting with the delivery of governance services through advising and supporting the organisations Board and Committee members, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements Setting agenda points for Directors and Chairs Managing report submissions and circulating meetings minutes and papers Ensuring meetings are ran smoothly Producing meeting minutes Establishing and maintaining relationships with Committee and Board members Supporting the organisation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and chosen code of governance Providing support with Governance Reviews and in-depth regulatory assessments Providing advice and support to the wider organisation with regards to governance Drafting and submitting governance reports Requirements of the Governance Officer: Experience of providing governance services within the housing sector To be considered for this exciting role, please contact Bethan Hall -Associate Director, at Hamilton Woods on 01509 276158 or apply online with a covering note of your experience and suitability referencing the job ID number.
