The Role: As a full time Maths teacher, you will have the chance to make a significant impact on the lives of our students. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver high-quality and engaging maths lessons, catering to a diverse range of learners. You will have the opportunity to share your expertise through innovative teaching methods, ensuring students develop a solid understanding and obtain GCSE qualifications teaching across years 7-11
Key Responsibilities:
1. Teaching GCSE Maths
2. Prepare and deliver lectures, workshops, and practical sessions on various maths topics.
3. Develop and update course materials to reflect the latest industry trends and advancements.
4. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their learning journey.
5. Supervise and guide students through assignments and exams
6. Support the department in curriculum development and enhancement.
7. Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast teaching methodologies.
Requirements:
8. A passion for maths and a strong commitment to education.
9. A relevant degree in maths or a related field
10. Proven experience in teaching maths at a secondary level is desirable but will also consider NQT's and FE level
11. Comprehensive knowledge of Maths
12. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
13. The ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their goals.
The successful applicant will be able to teach GCSE Maths
We also require applicants to have:
14. A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE / Cert Ed / QTS )
15. A good honours degree in a relevant subject discipline or significant experience within the maths industry.
16. Strong knowledge of the subject
17. Ability to utilise new technologies to engage, inspire and excite students in the subject area.
18. A student first, creative, fun and exciting approach to teaching and learning in the classroom
