Role Overview
A part‑time position has arisen for an experienced, well‑motivated, and enthusiastic support secretary to join the Digestive Emergency Surgical Care Group. The appointee will work within an established secretarial team that is committed to improving our patient experience.
Responsibilities
* Undertake all administrative duties and plan own workload.
* Work on own initiative and meet strict deadlines.
* Provide comprehensive administration/audio typing service, processing daily workloads efficiently.
* Handle ad‑hoc office duties and cross‑cover work where possible.
* Support across all three sites (Aintree, Broadgreen, Royal Liverpool) with a base at Aintree.
Qualifications
* Appropriate experience working in a medical environment.
* Good understanding and knowledge of medical terminology and audio typing.
* Experience using EPRO (clinic letter tool) is advantageous.
* Well organised, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.
Location
The successful candidate will provide support across three sites – Aintree University Hospital, Broadgreen Hospital, and the Royal Liverpool University Hospital – with a base at Aintree.
