A respected and long-established specialist Civil Engineering contractor is looking to recruit an experienced
Site Manager
to join their team in
the Bristol & Southwest region. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering complex infrastructure projects, from initial planning through to successful handover.

£60,000, a

Role Overview
As
Site Manager, youll take full operational responsibility for managing projects from contract award through to the end of the maintenance period. Key responsibilities include:
Ensuring a safe, clean, and compliant site at all times
Overseeing health, safety, environmental and quality procedures
Producing and reviewing RAMS, method statements, lift plans, and temporary works
Conducting regular HSE inspections and ensuring compliance with all legislation
Managing waste, environmental impact, and carbon reporting
Leading and coordinating subcontractors and site teams effectively

Requirements
HND/C, BSc/BEng in Civil Engineering OR NVQ Level 4/5 in Construction Site Management
Minimum 5 years experience on construction sites
Valid
CSCS ,
SMSTS, and
CPCS Appointed Person
cards
Temporary Works Coordinator and Fire Warden qualifications (advantageous)
Strong background in
heavy civils, deep drainage, and RC structures
Good understanding of plant, labour, and material costs
Up-to-date knowledge of health & safety regulations
Full UK driving licence
Proven leadership and communication skills
