Due to the nature of work that Sonic Healthcare UK undertakes, our clients require that Employees filling certain roles, need, as part of their on-boarding to complete a DBS Check. This role falls into the category of requiring a DBS check (standard).
About the role:
The Cellular Pathology Department at Hemel Hempstead Hospital is looking to recruit a full-time Senior Biomedical Scientist to work within the Histopathology section of the laboratory.
We are seeking a motivated individual to work within a busy, but friendly department and to participate in all activities required to run an efficient, high-quality service.
The Cellular Pathology department at Hemel Hempstead processes around 46,000 histology and 3,700 cytology samples a year as well as running a busy Andrology service to the local population.
The post-holder will be expected to supervise the routine histopathology section of the laboratory, ensuring all work is produced in a timely manner whilst maintaining a high-quality service.
