We have a rare opportunity for a qualified nurse to join us at Haverhill Vets For Pets, where you’ll get the opportunity to grow further in your career and truly use your hard-earned skills in a well-developed practice. About Us You’ll be joining a long-standing team of 5 nurses, who bring a wealth of experience in various areas. We truly believe in allowing our nurses to flourish and are generous with our CPD offering, which colleagues are actively encouraged and supported to use to further their interests and develop their skills in a direction of their choosing. We also have a great track record of growing our own talent and have supported a number of student nurses through graduation. We currently have 3 SVNs, one of which will be qualifying soon! 4 of our nurses are clinical coaches and if this is something that interests you, we can provide the CPD for this. There’s lots of opportunities for growth in other areas too; working with a varied caseload (including wildlife) to learn new or nurture your current skills, performing schedule 3 procedures, various equipment available (laparoscopy, endoscopy and dental x-ray) and if you have a particular area of interest, we’re always happy to set up new clinics! The role This is a full-time position over a 4 day week and will include 1 in 4 Saturdays (9am-6pm). You will be based in Haverhill Vets for Pets, however, there will be occasions where you will work from our sister practice at Saffron Walden Vets for Pets and you’ll will need to flexible with this. You will be a dynamic and proactive nurse with solid all-round skills and delivering excellent patient and client care. You will be a strong team player and have good communication skills.
