Corpay is current ly looking to hire a Legal Counsel who will, working with the Head of Legal for Fuel, assume responsibility for all legal matters arising from its operations in the UK, including but not limited to Allstar Business Solutions and epyx Limited. Allstar is a leading fuel card provider in the UK. Allstar is in the process of expanding its product offering into the electric vehicle and business payments sectors. epyx is a Software as a Service solution aimed at the automotive sector. Its portfolio of platforms empower fleets to manage all of the activities involved in sourcing, e-procurement and transaction processing of their vehicles. Allstar and epyx are part of Corpay, a leading global provider of fleet cards and speciality payments to businesses with an approximate market capitalisation of $18 billion, in excess of 7,000 employees and a world-wide presence. Reporting to the Head of Legal, Fuel, the role involves assisting in managing legal business matters pertaining to the organisation in the UK. The role also involves coordinating legal matters as requested the Head of Legal, Fuel and taking direct responsibility for two business lines in the UK.

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
* Acting as trusted advisor to business colleagues, leaders and senior legal staff.
* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating customer contracts for UK business lines.
* Maintaining and updating template documents.
* Reviewing NDA’s and providing template contracts to stakeholders.
* Undertaking varied corporate work such as preparing board minutes, maintaining corporate registers and preparing filings.
* Working with senior lawyers on a diverse range of legal areas such as corporate, commercial, marketing and product.
* Assisting on major projects and co-ordinating actions for the senior lawyers.
* Managing commercial disputes and litigation matters in the UK.
* Supporting product development initiatives with actionable and clear legal advice.
Qualifications & Skills
* A UK qualified lawyer of 2-5 years PQE. This is a guide only and candidates with more or less experience will be considered if he/she satisfies the other requirements for the job.
* Experience of working in an in-house legal team.
* Proactive, organisational skills, detail-orientated with good communication skills and a keen and “can do” attitude.
* Ability to work in a team oriented, practical environment.
* Can manage a variety of assigned projects.
* Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and time management skills.
* A self-motivated and hard worker who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
