Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for compassionate and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with special educational needs in schools across Kent. The Role:
You will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to provide one-to-one or small group support for students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and other learning challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support pupils with learning activities tailored to their individual needs.
* Encourage social and emotional development in a nurturing environment.
* Help manage behaviour and promote positive reinforcement strategies.
* Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals.
* Ensure pupils feel included, supported, and engaged in the classroom.

Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN is highly desirable.
* Patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A proactive attitude to learning and professional development.
* A DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply through Teaching Personnel).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
