Thisrolewouldsuitafriendly,motivatedandprofessionalindividual,lookingforaroletobetterusetheirpayrollexpertise.ReportingtothePayrollManager,thePayrollSeniorwillprovidevaluablesupportwithyear-endandregularpayrollduties,aswellasliaisingwithclients.
Keyaspectsoftheroleinclude:
* Runninghighvolumeweeklyandmonthlypayrollson payrollsoftware;
* Dealingwithcomplexpayqueriesfromclientsandstaff;
* Processingstartersandleavers,employeechanges,statutorypaymentsanddeductionsincludingSMP,SSPandSPP;
* Runningyear-endroutinesforpayrolls;
* Processingaccuratedataentry;
* Dealingwithadministrationofautoenrolmentpensionsresponsibilities.
Theidealperson
Theidealcandidatewillhaveatleasttwoyearsexperienceprocessingpayrolls,Ideallytheyshouldhaveexperience ofautoenrolmentandpensions,aswellasGDPRregulations.TheywouldalsobenefitfromhavingagoodunderstandingofPAYE,NI,RTI,SMP,SSPandotherHMRCpayrollstatutoryregulations.
Thepositionwouldsuitanexcellentcommunicator,keentoprogressintheirrole.Theyshouldbeenthusiasticwithstrongnumeracyandliteracyskills,andexcellentinterpersonalskills.
