Legal Secretary Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Legal Secretary (ideally in a Private Client Department - Wills, Trust Probate)
* Excellent knowledge of legal terminology and documentation
* Proficiency in MS Office and legal software
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Legal Secretary Responsibilities:
* Assisting with the drafting and filing of legal documents and client telephone queries
* Managing and organizing legal correspondence and documentation - typing correspondence and document (audio experience desirable)
* Coordinating appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
* Providing administrative support to legal professionals - file opening, giving quotes and sending out quote letters, scanning, photocopying and filing, managing email correspondence
* Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with discretion
Ensuring the smooth running of the department and assisting with general compliance
