We\'re working with an amazing business who are based in Rotherham. They provide services to the water industry, and have contracts with leading names. They are looking to recruit a Lead Fitter for their servicing team, which involves travel to various sites. The Person
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical engineering.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to read and follow maintenance task lists.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
* Full UK driving license.
* Experience in the Waste Water or Water industry.
This role is working days but may incur weekend and evening call out, which will be paid at a premium. The role comes with a company van, phone and tablet.
The Role
* Routine Maintenance & Repairs: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on waste-water treatment screens - this will involve entry into confined spaces.
* Troubleshooting & Fault Diagnosis: Identify and resolve mechanical issues where possible and complete a comprehensive report to allow further works to be carried out as required
* Compliance & Documentation: Maintain detailed service records, write reports, and ensure all activities adhere to environmental and safety regulations.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Follow all company and client safety regulations and guidelines. Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation troubleshooting.
This role is working Monday - Thursday 8 am - 4.30 pm, Friday 7 am - 3 pm for core hours.
