The Role We are looking for Pre-Academy Scouts on a casual, part-time basis - who will be on the front line in identifying talented young players with the potential to develop within our Pre-Academy age groups. The development of young talent and giving young players a chance has long been at the centre of our philosophy, so our Academy is a vital part of our club and exists to develop Strong Young Gunners for the future and you will be at the forefront of this mission to uncover the most promising young players. Your day-to-day Be a key part of our Academy Talent Identification network - you'll play a vital role in identifying talented players for the future success of our club Identify the most exciting talent - you will relish the opportunity to take responsibility for identifying and reporting on the most talent young players in your designated catchment area Keep abreast of the wider player landscape - you'll diligently report on and monitor players on our database, whilst ensuring a good knowledge of players at other clubs Build impactful relationships on all fronts - you will passionately establish and maintain effective relationships with players, parents/guardians and grassroots clubs Develop a network of important contacts - you'll cultivate a valuable network of contacts in youth football Uphold our high standards - you will take pride in ensuring our best-in-class standards are always adhered to and work within the rules of youth football development What we are looking for Credible expertise - you've completed one of the following courses/accreditations: National Talent Identification and Scouting in Football, Advanced Principles of Talent Identification and Development in Football, Leadership of Talent Identification and Development in Football or a Technical Director course Solid knowledge of youth football - you're proud of your extensive understanding of grassroots football and your knowledge of local junior football clubs Certified in Safeguarding - you hold an up to date Safeguarding Children Certificate Excellent communication skills - you're able to build and maintain impactful relationships with parents/guardians, coaches and players of varying ages, tailoring your approach as necessary Best-in-class attention to detail - you're well versed in producing insightful written reports and delivering verbal feedback with the utmost clarity Please note: this role will require you to hold a valid driving license Arsenal for Everyone Arsenal for Everyone is our commitment to promoting and embracing equality, diversity and inclusion, so that everyone connected to the club feels like they belong to the same Arsenal family.
