Senior Manager – Operations, Marketing & Commercial Oversight
Role Overview
The Senior Manager is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the organization while driving effective marketing planning and maintaining strong commercial and partner oversight. This role sits at the intersection of team management, marketing strategy, and commercial execution, acting as a central coordination point to ensure priorities are clear, work is delivered to a high standard, and communication flows efficiently across internal teams and external partners.
The role requires a highly organized, detail-driven individual with strong communication skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to balance multiple workstreams simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities1. Team Management & Operations
* Upload, maintain, and enforce all organizational rules across the team to ensure consistent and professional operations.
* Review daily task lists and workloads, helping teams balance priorities and maintain steady progress.
* Attend weekly meetings and track follow-up actions, ensuring outcomes are clearly assigned and completed in line with agreed priorities.
* Hold weekly check-in meetings with staff as required to review progress, resolve blockers, and provide operational guidance.
* Manage staff sick leave and holiday schedules to maintain appropriate coverage and workflow continuity.
* Oversee staff proof-reading and artwork checklists, acting as the final line checker to ensure quality, consistency, and accuracy across submissions.
2. Marketing Planning & Execution
* Liaise directly with Reef’s marketing team to align campaign goals, schedules, and deliverables.
* Control and track allocated marketing budgets per product, ensuring cost efficiency and strategic alignment.
* Conduct full analysis of new products, including hands-on play experience, internal feedback, and audience response.
* Perform audience research and segmentation to define key demographics, positioning, and messaging.
* Carry out competitive and environmental analysis across relevant video-game markets.
* Evaluate available promotional resources (staff, channels, budgets) and optimise their deployment.
* Create detailed marketing and campaign plans aligned with commercial targets and creative intent.
* Collaborate with developers, creators, publishers, and partners to gather feedback and refine campaign approaches.
* Present campaign strategies internally and refine them based on feedback from marketing and communications teams.
* Execute and monitor approved campaigns, tracking performance metrics and making live adjustments where required.
* Produce post-mortem reports for each campaign, consolidating insights, results, and partner feedback to inform future planning.
3. Commercial & Partner Oversight
* Attend partner video calls to support coordination, communication, and progress tracking.
* Track project milestones and asset approvals, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with brand and licensor standards.
* Work closely with vendors to monitor BOMs, logistics, and P&Ls, ensuring alignment with commercial expectations.
* Monitor product P&L performance and coordinate marketing budget allocation with senior management.
* Manage back-catalogue sales performance and identify new commercial opportunities across digital and physical channels.
* Gather and prepare forecast materials for new releases, ensuring timely integration into purchasing and planning processes.
* Plan and manage partner and developer events, including media showcases, previews, and industry presentations, ensuring professional execution.
* Review and validate set-up sheets and submission materials for retailers and first-party platforms.
* Track and record purchase invoices, ensuring accuracy, timely approval, and alignment with budget forecasts.

Reporting Line
