Overview
Join the RAC as a Mobile Mechanic. You’ll bring expert knowledge and problem-solving skills directly to our members wherever they are, delivering first-class service outside of a traditional garage. This is a full-time role in the Service, Maintenance and Repair (SMR) division.
Responsibilities
* Provide mobile vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, servicing and repairs at customers’ locations (driveways, car parks, etc.).
* Utilise your own mobility and adapt to varied environments to resolve customer issues on the spot.
* Work with a fully equipped RAC van and fuel card, using essential tools and diagnostic equipment.

* Competitive salary: £38,625 basic salary, with the opportunity to earn up to £53,000
* Sociable hours: 40 hours per week, 8am–4:30pm, plus 1 in 4 Saturdays

Qualifications
* Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
* At least 3 years’ hands-on experience as a vehicle technician on light vehicles
* A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
