Our client, a leading global manufacturer supplying major retailers, home‑improvement chains, and specialist dealers, is seeking a Marketing Manager to take ownership of the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of comprehensive marketing strategies that elevate the company’s products, services, and brand.
This role is central to building and managing a high‑performing marketing function that drives brand awareness, customer acquisition, engagement, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
* Research market trends, customer insights, competitors, and opportunities to inform
* Develop and own the overall marketing strategy, annual plans, and multi‑channel campaigns aligned with business objectives.
* Identify target audiences, positioning, messaging, and value propositions for products/services.
Campaign Development & Execution
* Plan, create, and manage integrated marketing campaigns across digital (social media, email, paid ads, SEO/SEM), content, PR, events, and traditional channels.
* Oversee the full campaign lifecycle: concept, briefing, creative development, launch, optimisation, and post‑campaign analysis.
* Write compelling copy, develop content calendars, and produce or commission marketing materials including website content, brochures, adverts, videos, and
Brand & Creative Management
* Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, ensuring consistent tone, voice, visuals, and messaging across all touchpoints.
Job Specification: Marketing Manager
* Manage or commission image creation, graphic design, photography, and video production.
* Build and protect the company brand to enhance recognition and reputation.
Digital & Performance Marketing
* Lead digital marketing efforts including paid social when required (Meta, LinkedIn, etc.), Google Ads, email marketing, and website optimisation.
* Monitor and optimise campaigns using analytics tools to maximise ROI, conversion rates, and lead generation.
* Build effective relationships and coordinate with freelancers/agencies.
* Recruit, induct, train, and performance manage marketing staff as and when required.
* Collaborate closely with sales, product, operations, and senior leadership to ensure marketing supports commercial goals.
Budget, Reporting & Measurement
* Manage the marketing budget: allocate resources, negotiate with suppliers/agencies, and control spend.
* Set KPIs, track performance (e.g., brand awareness, leads, sales attribution, engagement metrics), and produce regular reports/dashboards.
* Analyse results and implement data‑driven improvements to enhance effectiveness and efficiency.
Qualifications
* Experience in window shading industry
* Hands‑on experience with tools such as HubSpot, Mailchimp, Canva/Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite or similar.
* Knowledge of SEO, PPC, CRM systems, or lifecycle marketing.
* Previous success building a marketing function from scratch or during growth.
