An exciting new opportunity has arisen within Education & Families, for a temporary Data Insights Officer to support the Children’s Service Planning Partnership fulfil its ambitions to deliver flexible and accessible whole family support at the right time. Across the partnership we have invested in a range of innovative services and approaches and are committed to understanding what impact these are making.
You will work closely with our Whole Family Wellbeing Lead to collate, analyse and present a range of data to inform and influence the development of our support to families. This may include direct engagement with families using our services.
This new role requires flexibility, adaptability and resilience and presents an exciting and exhilarating challenge; contributing to North Lanarkshire’s vision for family support. You will develop relationships with services both within the council and its partners as the role will involve complex conversations with service leads in those areas.
You must be educated to degree/SVQ4/HND standard or equivalent in a relevant discipline and you need to demonstrate evidence of continuous professional development. You should also have considerable experience of managing research projects to achieve goals; contributing to strategic goals and/or developing multi‑agency initiatives, strategies and policies together with good analytical skills and the ability to present findings clearly and concisely. We need someone who has experience of data analysis and research and engaging and influencing stakeholders across the organisation.
The post is temporary for up to 12 months. We will consider full and part time applications.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip.
