We are currently seeking a caring and enthusiastic individual to join the team at a lovely village school located just east of York. This rewarding role involves supporting both the Breakfast Club and After School Club, helping to create a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for the children.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and engage children during Breakfast and After School Club sessions, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment.
Prepare and serve breakfast/snacks, promoting healthy eating habits and good table manners.
Plan and lead age-appropriate activities, including games, crafts, and quiet time, that support children's social and emotional development.
Support positive behaviour, using appropriate strategies to encourage cooperation, kindness, and respect among children.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
Set up and tidy away resources and equipment before and after sessions, maintaining a clean and organised space.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and school staff, fostering a sense of community and trust.
Assist with record-keeping, such as attendance registers and incident reports, as required by the school.Requirements:
A genuine passion for working with children.
Friendly, reliable, and approachable with a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic understanding of safeguarding and child protection (training can be provided).
Previous experience in a childcare or school setting is desirable but not essential.
