GSL Education are seeking an SEMH Behaviour Mentor to join a supportive and inclusive school in Worksop. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about helping pupils overcome emotional barriers, develop confidence, and achieve positive outcomes within a nurturing learning environment. As an SEMH Behaviour Mentor, you will: Help pupils build emotional regulation skills, resilience, and positive behaviour strategies. Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe school environment for all learners. Implement behaviour support plans and tailored interventions. Build trusting, supportive relationships with pupils to encourage engagement in learning. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams to maintain consistent support. Requirements for SEMH Behaviour Mentor: Previous experience supporting young people with SEMH, SEN, or behavioural needs (highly desirable). Strong communication, empathy, and de-escalation skills. A patient, adaptable, and supportive approach to behaviour management. Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply). A full CV covering the last 10 years, with explanations for any gaps.
