A family-run business trading for over 35 years, supplying, installing and servicing agricultural equipment for livestock production across South East England.
The job
As Agricultural Engineer/Fitter you will work closely within a small and dedicated team to supply and install the equipment including poultry and pig feeders, drinkers, feed bins, flex augers, nest boxes, egg packing machines, and similar systems at livestock farms across the Southeast.
What you'll need
* Experience with livestock and/or mechanical engineering preferred
* Used to working in an agricultural environment
* A good team player with excellent communication skills
* Experience operating plant including forklift, scissor lift, cherry picker etc an advantage
* Mechanically minded
Where you'll be based
The yard is based near to Eye, IP23, and work is across the South East of the UK, including East Anglia, Kent, and East Sussex. You will leave the yard at 8am each day and be back at the yard for 4:30pm - any later than this and you will paid as overtime.
What you'll receive
* £30,000 - £40,000 per annum dependent on experience
* Company van after 3 months of employment
* Bonus scheme
* Working Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm, with an average of 10 hours of overtime per week
* 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
* Tools, PPE, and workwear provided
* Full training including plant tickets and safety courses
