Salary: Grade 1, Point 3: £2,837 per annum pro rated (pay award pending). Contract: Permanent, 5 hours per week, 38.4 weeks per year (term time plus 4 inset days).
The salary quoted reflects the annual salary for the position at the time of advertising. Payment will be made in equal monthly instalments and will be adjusted at the start of employment, and again if employment ends partway through the school year, to ensure the correct salary is paid for work completed during the academic year.
Responsibilities
* Safely stop traffic and assist children and pedestrians to cross the road using approved procedures and equipment.
* Work in all weather conditions, maintain a calm and professional approach, and ensure the highest standards of safety at all times.
Qualifications
* Dependable, approachable, safety-conscious.
* Able to communicate confidently with children, parents, and members of the public.
Additional Information
* Full training, uniform, and equipment will be provided.
* This role may be suitable to combine with a Midday Supervisor position.
