The Role This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and structured legal professional to take on a mixed caseload of civil litigation matters and work within a friendly, supportive, and forward-thinking team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage a varied caseload of civil litigation matters independently
Provide practical, solution-focused legal advice to a wide range of clients
Convert enquiries and quotations into new business
Work closely with colleagues and contribute to business development and marketing activity
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal developments in dispute resolution
Adhere to firm-wide financial and compliance procedures, including accurate time recording, billing, and risk management
Person Specification Essential:
Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive, or experienced Litigation Executive
Experience managing your own caseload of civil litigation matters
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Professional, confident, and client-focused
Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines
Desirable:
Familiarity with SOS Connect or other case management systems
Experience using HR or legal admin systems (e.g. CIPHR)
Commercial mindset with a focus on generating new work
