Description
The job itself
A caring and kind Personal Assistant is required to support a cheerful and lively young individual who enjoys engaging in fun, creative and active play. The child loves dancing, copying dance moves, and spending time with favourite toys such as a pirate ship and farm animals. Outdoor play, water activities, and visits to the park - especially going down the slide -are also enjoyed. Positive adult attention and encouragement are very motivating.
The child can sometimes become overwhelmed by loud environments, busy spaces, or people entering their personal space. They may become upset if clothing becomes very wet or dirty. Support is needed to ensure safety in the community, as the child may tire easily, sit down unexpectedly, or run off. A pushchair is used as a safe and secure space. Communication is supported through signs and visual aids, and assistance is also required with personal care, wearing glasses, and implementing gastro feeds.
