Join to apply for the SEN Teacher role at TieTalent. Core subject (Maths, English, or Science) SEN / SEND tutors for young people with SEND, SEMH, and other additional educational needs in Hampshire. Multiple positions are available and hiring is ongoing to meet the needs we support.
We are on a mission to transform the quality of education for young people with SEN/SEND, SEMH, MLD, and SLD. We are looking for SEN/SEND tutors with a passion for transforming the lives of disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners in Hampshire. Our team supports the child with a focus on the whole journey, and you will be supported throughout every placement by our SEN/SEND Support Specialists.
This role is ideal for qualified SEN/SEND teachers who prefer 1:1 tutoring with a variety of learning needs in a creative, flexible, holistic, and trauma-informed manner.

The SEN/SEND Tutor role
* Provide Maths, English, or Science tuition to young people with SEND, SEMH, MLD/SLD, or other needs referred to Targeted Provision
* Support is provided via flexible, holistic, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
* These learners are referred by local authorities and schools
Responsibilities
* Plan each tutoring/mentoring session
* Deliver holistic and engaging sessions to meet educational and social-emotional needs
* Complete lesson reports and provide progress feedback
Requirements
* Professional teaching qualifications (QTS/QTLS)
* Minimum 2 years teaching experience
* Experience working with SEND/SEMH/MLD/SLD
* Safeguarding knowledge and DBS (assistance available at cost)
* Two professional references
* Right to work in the UK (including remote/online work)

Employment status
* Engagement as a Worker on short-term engagements with a contract-for-service and PAYE payment
* No guaranteed hours or expenses coverage
* Insurance covers work you do for us
* Not a self-employed position
