1. We are looking for a creative and ambitious Media practitioner who is ready to be a changemaker— someone who doesn’t just deliver lessons but inspires transformation. You will be passionate about using media as a tool for empowerment, storytelling, and social impact, and you’ll bring this energy into every classroom, studio, and production set.
You will have a solid foundation in the media industry, with the ability to design learning experiences that are current, practical, and impactful. Your teaching will be informed by lived industry experience and your commitment to inclusive, learner-centred education. As a changemaker at Sunderland College, you’ll do more than teach — you’ll mentor, coach, and inspire. Through projects with our in-house production company, Production Eighteen, you’ll give students real-world opportunities to develop their skills and voice, preparing them for meaningful careers in the creative industries. Your contribution will directly support our mission to positively shape lives, communities, and the economy.
You’ll model the College’s values of Courage, Authenticity, Respect and Excellence, and work collaboratively to build an ambitious, future-focused curriculum. You’ll champion diversity, digital innovation, and personal growth, ensuring every student feels seen, supported, and inspired to achieve.
