About the Role We are seeking a skilled Deputy Manager / Clinical Lead (Registered Nurse) to support the Home Manager and lead our clinical team. In this dual leadership role, you will act as a role model, inspiring and developing care staff while maintaining high standards of person‑centred care. Key Responsibilities As our Deputy Manager / Clinical Lead, you will: Support the Home Manager in the overall management of the home. Lead, supervise, and develop the clinical and care teams. Ensure that high standards of person‑centred care are consistently delivered. Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and clinical governance. Maintain compliance with CQC regulations and internal quality standards. Assist with staff training, recruitment, and performance management. Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals. Act as the senior point of contact in the Manager’s absence. Participate in the on-call rota as a Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead. Essential Requirements We are looking for a Deputy Manager / Clinical Lead who has: Current NMC registration as an RGN or RMN with a valid PIN. Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to act as a professional role model. Experience in a senior care home or leadership role. Excellent communication, organisational, and people management skills. Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Clinical Lead. Commitment to safe, person‑centred practice.
