Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Lead, develop, coordinate and drive forward a range of inspiring teaching, learning and assessment improvement activities to ensure teachers are equipped to adapt their practice and learning environments for learners with neurodivergent conditions.
* Work with all types of provision to improve and enhance the learning experience provided to learners, particularly those with neurodivergent conditions.
* Provide in‑class support/coaching to help teachers to adapt their practice and learning environments for learners with neurodivergent conditions when required.
* Act as a role model of excellence to all teaching staff when delivering training to teams and individuals.
* Address the outcomes of quality assurance activity, learner and employer feedback, attendance, retention, progress, achievement and work placement to ensure swift positive interventions are implemented.
* Source, propose, plan, prepare, deliver coaching, training and interventions to continually improve inclusive teaching, training, learning and assessment, including the use of digital technology and independent learning.
* Provide development, enhancement, and training in online learning environments and digital technologies, and support the use and improvement of technology across college by working with the TLD group (Technology Enhanced Learning and Digital Strategy).
* Develop, advise and support teams and individuals with a range of inclusive teaching, learning and assessment methods, materials and approaches that include digital technology to fully prepare all learners for progression and career aspirations.
* Develop and maintain high levels of personal skills using feedback from service users to continuously develop practice.
* Keep abreast of local and national developments to continuously support the highest standards of inclusive teaching, learning and assessment including digital pedagogical strategies across all types of provisions.
* Identify appropriate ways of ensuring that inclusive teaching, learning and assessment develops maths and English skills appropriately to support all learners to make good or better progress against their starting points to support positive progression and meet individual career aspirations.
* Assess and provide feedback on the quality of inclusive teaching, learning and assessment to support rapid continuous improvement.
* Provide advice, guidance and support to develop a culture of reflective practice across the entire organisation.
* Develop and lead a model of peer learning and review networks to support continual improvement in inclusive practice across the entire organisation.
* A teaching commitment according to the needs of the organisation.
