Salary: £20,021.63 - £23,049.00 (Term Time) | £26,339.56 - £30,732.00 (Full Year Equivalent)
Summergil House School is looking for dedicated and passionate Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join our team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting difference, where your skills and energy will help pupils thrive every day. Located in Presteigne, Summergil House School offers a unique learning environment on 18 acres of fields, woodlands, a stream, lake, swimming pool, and sports hall. Children with autism and complex needs are supported to feel safe, respected, and inspired.

Responsibilities
* A SEN Superstar: Champion bespoke learning strategies tailored to pupil needs.
* A Resilience Rock: Use confidence and positivity to inspire students.
* A Creative Collaborator: Support teachers with lesson planning, activities, and assessments.
* An Empathy Expert: Work patiently with small groups of pupils with complex needs.
* A Relationship Guru: Build strong connections with pupils, families, and colleagues.
* A Positive Vibe Promoter: Encourage positive behaviour and a supportive atmosphere.
* An Independent Innovator: Use creativity to bring learning to life.
* An Avid Adventurer: Help organise fun off-site activities.
* A Care Champion: Support pupils with routines, breaks, and personal care when needed.
What we’re looking for
* At least 12 months’ experience in a similar role.
* A qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning (or equivalent).
* GCSEs in English and Maths.
* Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication.
* Note: This position involves working with children in a regulated capacity and requires an Enhanced DBS Check, including a Barred List Check.
