The Opportunity

This is a hands-on, varied HR Advisor role where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with Heads of Department and employees across the business, providing proactive advice and practical support on all people-related matters, including retention, performance, conduct and wellbeing.

Using your strong employment law knowledge and commercial HR mindset, you’ll help shape policies, drive HR initiatives, and support change — all while keeping people, culture and best practice front and centre.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your role will include (but won’t be limited to):

* Partnering closely with Heads of Department to understand their teams and identify trends, challenges and opportunities

* Managing a busy HR caseload, ensuring cases are progressed effectively and in line with policies and procedures

* Supporting and leading investigations, grievance and disciplinary processes

* Contributing to HR innovation and continuous improvement initiatives

* Overseeing and supporting a seamless onboarding experience for all new starters

* Supporting recruitment activity, including advertising roles and assisting with selection processes

* Providing accurate and timely HR administration, including new starter documentation

* Supporting the apprenticeship process across the business

* Creating and analysing HR reports using the HR Information System (HRIS)

* Troubleshooting basic HR system queries and issues

* Contributing to social media content to attract talent and promote the employer brand

* Supporting the planning and administration of staff social events to enhance employee engagement

About You

You’ll be approachable, professional and passionate about working with people. You’ll be confident managing your own workload, comfortable dealing with a wide range of stakeholders, and ready to bring fresh ideas to the table.

You’ll also bring:

* Proven HR advisory experience with the ability to hit the ground running

* Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice

* The ability to analyse HR data and turn insight into solution-led initiatives

* Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

* High attention to detail and a collaborative, team-focused approach

* Strong technical ability, including experience using HRIS to drive efficiency

* CIPD Level 5 qualification (ideal)

* Hospitality sector experience (advantageous, but not essential)

Working Hours

Up to 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 9:00am – 5:30pm.
