Exciting career development opportunity to contribute as part of a dynamic team leading a new and innovative satellite of Woodlands School, catering for pupils with complex learning difficulties and social and communication needs in the Esher area.
In September 2025, Woodlands an outstanding special school in Leatherhead, will be creating a satellite site, providing for approximately 24 students with complex social and communication needs in the Esher area.
It is anticipated that students will be commencing at the satellite in a phased manner from September 2025. The funding in the first instance is for 1 year, however we expect the post to be made permanent over the course of the year.
The team being being recruited to lead this provision will consist of an Assistant Headteacher with a teaching responsibility, supported by 2 x FTE teachers and 1 x 0.4 teacher.
The developing team will receive support and training from the leadership of Woodlands School.
