We are welcoming applications for Unqualified Postgraduate Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in both mainstream and specialist schools across Weston-super-Mare.

Role Overview
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (may vary by school)
Schedule: Monday to Friday (term-time only)
Progression: Opportunities for permanent roles available
Key Responsibilities
Provide tailored 1:1 or small group SEN support
Work closely with teachers and support staff
Assist with personalised learning activities
Support pupils in line with EHCPs
Create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
What We’re Looking For
A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
Strong communication and behaviour management skills ️
SEN or relevant experience (desirable but not essential)
Background in education, care, or sports coaching (preferred)
A flexible, proactive, and resilient attitude
