Job Title: Draughtsman (CAD Technician)
Our client is a leading engineering company based in the heart of Godalming, Surrey. They are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Draughtsman to join their dynamic team. Location: Godalming High Street, Surrey (Remote or Hybrid options available)
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 PA
Start Date: By 1st July 2026

This role would also be a great opportunity for any individuals looking to advance into project engineering or expand their skill set.
Your Role:
Create detailed 2D technical drawings for steel fabrication based on specifications and customer requirements.
Review and check drawings prepared by other draughtsmen.
Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and fabrication teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
Update and revise drawings based on design changes or client feedback.
Participate in design reviews and resolve technical issues during production at the workshop in Oldbury, West Midlands.
What We’re looking for in a Draughtsman:
Skills & Attributes:
High accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to manage work across multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Proactive and creative mindset.
Experience:
Proficiency in CAD software (Autodesk AutoCAD experience is a plus).
Familiarity with document management systems.
Excellent knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, and file-sharing platforms.
